HIT Double® – Power from both sides
Panasonic's HIT Double® modules generate solar electricity simultaneously on the front and on the back side. The back side of the modules takes up environmental light reflected from surrounding surfaces. This additional amount of light is combined with the light taken up by the front side of the module. As compared to our single-side HIT modules,energy generation can be increased by up to 20% per square meter with the HIT Double® Modules by virtue of their special design. The HIT Double® by Panasonic are also some of the highest performance modules currently available.
For best possible energy yields
1. Flat installation substrate with high reflection rates (minimum 60%)
2. No shadow from the assembly carrier on the back side
3. Distance between installation substrate and HIT Double Module (minimum 50 cm)
HIT Double® Module are 24.3% more efficient than traditional HIT Modules.
