In its continuing efforts to create increased value for European customers, Panasonic have announced a new 15-year guarantee on its photovoltaic HIT® module products.
The devepolment expands Panasonic’s product guarantee from 10 to 15 years and features across their comprehensive high-efficiency solar module portfolio available to the German market. It will provide installers and system owners with greater reliability assurance, combined with the unrivalled high performance and manufacturing quality features across all HIT® modules.

The product guarantee follows the launch of Panasonic’s HIT N330/325 for the European market. Featuring the new 15 year product guarantee, the N330/325 delivers higher energy density per square meter by achieving 19.7% module-level efficiency with a nominal output of 330/325 watts, significantly decreasing balance of systems costs of residential and commercial systems for European installers. Alongside Panasonic’s existing HIT® N240/N245 and N285, the company are offering three high-efficiency module solutions, delivering installers with increased flexibility and choice to ultimately provide their customers with more power per square feet on rooftop systems
Also featured will be the company’s higly anticipated lithium-ion storage solution and heat pump solutions. Panasonic’s storage technology, which featutes smart demand-response functionaility, is AC connected making it fully suitable for retrofit solar energy installations. The solution is entirely manufacturered by Panasonic and incorporates the company’s patented inverter and energy management technology, as seen in their visionary Sustainable Smart Town in Fujisawa, Japan.
Panasonic will be at booth A2.270 during Intersolar Europe from June 22-24 in Munich.
